Artist's Biography
Agustin Bejarano was born in Camagüey, Cuba, 1964.

He is a graduate of the Instituto Superior de Arte (Superior Institute of Art), specializing in printmaking, 1988. Bejarano is well known for his "Coquettes" or "Flirts", a series of 14 muses inspired by his wife Aziyade.
He is the founder and director of the Printmaking Workshop of Camagüey. Bejarano has been awarded numerous prizes and distinctions including:1995 Prize, XI Printmaking Biennial of Latin American and the Caribbean; 1997 National Prize of Printmaking, Cuba; 2000 Printmaking Prize in Puerto Rico.
