Es Baluard Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma was inaugurated in February 2004 following an agreement between the town council of Palma and the Fundació d’Art Serra. The latter donated part of its art collection towards the new museum’s archives.
The museum aims to combine the principals of a modern and contemporary art museum with international standing thanks to the confluence of both public and private initiative. |
