Stefano Contini, Tuscan by birth (born in Pistoia in 1950), but Venetian by adoption, is the owner of the art galleries that bear his name.
Upon completing his technical studies in 1969, he immediately began to devote his time to the world of art, specialized art publications and later as a gallery owner.
Since 1979 he has been responsible for the Rizzoli Editore and of the Rizzoli Finarte in the Veneto region. In that same year, he opened his first art gallery in Mestre.
Today the Contini Galleries are in three locations: Venice, Mestre and Cortina d’Ampezzo and are highly regarded in Italy as well as internationally.
They have become an important point of reference for collectors of prestigious modern and contemporary art and sculpture.
Mr. Contini participates in the most important art exhibitions in Italy and abroad as well as being actively involved personally in the organization of key events. |
